Ragheer offers an experiential pathway program for graduate and undergraduate students in their final years of study who strive to do more with their careers. Ragheer Fellows push boundaries, both mental and geographic, to undertake work they are passionate about, and that makes a difference.

After their program, Ragheer Fellows go on to become entrepreneurs or employees in private or public sector. What they have in common is a unique, first-hand understanding of the on-the-ground situation in growth markets that enables them to make more well informed and empathetic decisions and increase their contribution.

The building blocks of the Rahgeer Fellows program are:

Work Experience

The centerpiece of the Ragheer Fellowship is your placement in a social enterprise, start-up, NGO or government body. You will work along local future changemakers to develop projects, policy or businesses that have the potential to, or are already having a positive impact on the society. Through our network, we are able to offer 20+ industry specializations. Placements are based on previous experience and interest.

Growth Market Insights

During your program, you will participate in planned visits to a local charity, corporate and startup incubator. These visits will provide you with on-ground 360 degree view of local landscape, as well as insights into the trends and forces at play. Instead of forming your impression from international newspapers, you will be able to develop your own, first-hand understanding of the workings at play.

Professional Connections

You will meet and connect with likeminded, bright and mission-driven young professionals through networking events, business visits, and at your workplace. You will gain unique access to learn from successful business leaders and experts who can provide you with a new in-depth understanding of the dynamics of the market.

Local Guidance

Each Rahgeer Fellow will have a Ragheer Ambassador assigned to them. These are young professionals or students from the cities you work in, who will show you around, help you navigate the sometimes complex nuances of the country, and take you to their favorite spots around town.

Leadership Training

As a Rahgeer Fellow, you may attend a 3-5 day leadership retreat outside the city you work in. During the retreat, you will get the chance to digest your professional and personal experiences, gain perspective on what you have learned, and fill up your leadership toolbox with additional skills to increase your impact.

Ragheer Fellows are driven by a will to venture beyond the norms. They don’t seek comfort, instead they are driven by discovery, growth and impact. In a cohort of dynamic young people, you will find those who stretch your imagination, your perspectives of the world, and who end up becoming your trusted lifelong friends. In addition, through social events and gatherings, you will get to know locals who will become part of your global friendships.

Program Details

Each Rahgeer Fellows program is designed to ensure our Fellows have the smoothest and most rewarding stay in their host city and includes:

• Internship placement at a social enterprise, startup NGO or government body
• A Ragheer Ambassador Network
• 24/7 contact while on the ground
• Airport transfer on arrival and departure
• Visit to a charity, corporate and business incubator

8 – 12 week program

• At Cost: USD 200

The cost is designed to make the Rahgeer program accessible to as many student as possible while also making it more self sustaining

The Rahgeer program team will also help with arranging the following benefits (not included in the program fee)

• Appropriate accommodation of good local standard
• Bi-weekly Rahgeer dinner/social event with participants
• Guided tour of your host city
• Invitations to networking events in your destination city

Rahgeer understands that program participants may fly from across the world and have different demands on timings, dates and airlines which is why we let participants arrange their own flights.
